Curated driving tours for all Porsche owners who love the journey, the machine and the destination.
Curated driving tours for all Porsche owners who love the journey, the machine and the destination.

Flat Six Touring Society is a community built around one simple idea:
Porsches should be driven.
We organise curated driving tours for Porsche owners and their passengers across the UK and Europe- connecting great roads, great food, considered destinations and great people.
No egos.
No ‘we got an allocation’.
No garage queens.
Just a love of the drive.
All Porsche derivatives are welcome; from old school 356, to the latest GT model, from 924 to Taycan, from 911 to SUV. What matters most is the experience behind the wheel and being part of the community.
Many drivers come solo, others bring partners or friends. Regardless, all of our members share a passion for:

Hand-selected roads designed for driving

Limited numbers to keep the experience personal and the driving enjoyable

Well planned destinations, designed to appeal to passenger as much as driver

With Google maps links

Drive in convoy or enjoy the route at your own rhythm — we all meet at the destination
75 miles, 2.5 Hrs Driving
We meet for breakfast at the Piston Club, near Alcester.
After meeting the rest of the days community and a briefing we set off on our tour.
Taking in some of the Cotswold's best roads with stops at pre-arranged photo opportunities and interesting stop-offs.
Culminating in a final lunch stop where we can reflect on the morning's adventure.

The one brand that has always stood out to me is Porsche. During my formative years the sight of the 959 on the Dakar rally and then watching Porsche compete at Le Mans a few months later cemented my love for the brand. There’s something special about the balance of heritage, precision engineering and unmistakable design that keeps me fascinated decades later.
Over the years this passion for cars turned into a career in the automotive industry, with the culmination being my latest role as part of the engineering team at Singer Vehicle Design.

I’ve been around cars all my life. From helping my dad bleed the brakes on the family car when I was so tiny I could hardly reach the pedals, to attending local hill climbs such as Shelsley Walsh and Loton Park where my dad was a marshal in the’70’s. Before I started my career in IT I worked in the service department of a local car dealer!
So I’ve always been a bit of a petrol head, and had an eclectic love of all marques. However my love of one specific brand, Porsche, has grown exponentially since meeting my partner Nik. Having driven 3,000 miles across and around Europe in just 12-days, in “Sylvie” our 991, it made me realise what phenomenal cars these are and how privileged we are to be her guardian.
The idea of the FSTS came about from our love of driving these beautiful cars, and wanting to spend time with like-minded people.

I had my first ride in a Porsche when I was about 7 or 8. It was a red 911 SC RS that a friend of my dad had. It was a short drive but I was hooked!
It took nearly 30 years to get my own, and I loved owning my 964. It wasn’t just my weekend drive, I was determined that it wouldn’t become an ornament, only taken out for car meets. I used it

It took nearly 30 years to get my own, and I loved owning my 964. It wasn’t just my weekend drive, I was determined that it wouldn’t become an ornament, only taken out for car meets. I used it to take the dog for his hair cut, the weekly shop at the supermarket, as well as trips to Le mans. It became my daily go to.
And that’s what Porsche's are all about. Owning them, driving them and loving them.
The 964 has sadly moved on, replaced by 'Sylvie' the 991, but the attitude hasn't changed- it's OK to have a shiny Porsche as long as you're not afraid of getting it dirty.
